Good source for electronics parts

Specifically looking for quality pots for an in-line volume control. Know any good sources online? (Don't even know where to begin with the "search" button on this one)

Thanks for the info. I have a PAC in-line level controller between the Ipod & X-over, then the signal goes straight to the amps - no HU involved in a subaru Outback '05. The PAC unit is a simple passive design, just in in-line stereo pot (b50k) soldered to a board with stereo RCA input/outputs. But for some reason it seems to crap out after a few months - shorting, one side louder than another, strange stuff remedied by replacing the unit. I opted to just buy another - my third so far - out of convenience. When I mentioned quality I was wondering if I could just buy a better quality pot & solder it to the existing board. Ultimately I'm holding my breath for the Alpine H650 (or whatever their version of the Cleansweep is) b/c I think it'll make a cleaner interface & I'll be able to use the HU CD player too, plus I like the sound of the Ipod better thru Alpine interfaces in general, sounds less compressed. Plus I'm running out of things to tinker with in this system... They keep pushing back availability in true alpine fashion tho, so I'll keep buying PAC volume controls I guess. Anyone played with that Alpine unit yet? Any thoughts on it?
