Hello,  I just bought a 2004 silverado 2500hd stripped down work truck.  It has the 6.0 liter V8 & electronic throttle(not a cable).

The previous owner attempted to install cruise control.  He bought & installed the control lever, but when he went to wire it, he said it was harder than he thought or it couldn't be done.

I am looking for a link or a diagram on how to finish the job IF it can be done.  Can anyone give me some direction? Thanks.

2004-2007 Silverado (’07 classic) Handle

Replacing the NON cruise control arm with a new GM Cruise control arm.

On later 2004 and up Silverado trucks GM left off the square 4 pin plug that mates to the one on the new cruise handle.

The EASIEST way to connect it now is to extend the wires from the handle

To the backside of the multipin junction that is just left of center of the column.

Handle wire ........Truck’s wire

BLUE B1 ............Gray/Black

BLACK B10 .........Blue

Pink A2 ...............Pink

Gray B32 .............Gray

To Access First remove the dash trim bezel around the radio, instrument cluster. It snaps in place.

Next, remove the knee skirt. 2, 7MM headed screws at the bottom and snaps at the top.

Separate the Column covers and R&R the cruise arm.

Next remove the heater duct extension, it has one plastic clip on the left.

Next, remove the 4, 10mm nuts that hold on that curved steel thing.

Next there are 4, 7mm headed screws holding the multi-plug BCM up remove them and set it towards the floor

Next pry out some on the Multi-pin connector that you need to work on.

It is just above the BCM. On the left.

It slides in and out of some slots. Note the Lever position. And make sure it is the same way when reassembling or the connector may not connect properly.

The wires and numbers and are easy to see on the BACKSIDE of the connector.

Connect one wire at a time following the color code above.

Reverse order to reassemble.

THANK YOU!  Just wired it up, everything works perfect...even the cruise light on the dash comes on.  Thanks again.
