  • Highlight the are you want to copy
  • press CTRL - C
  • goto the target area you want to copy it to
  • Press CTRL - V

See if this works, you might have a READ-ONLY disc that will not allow you to copy this way.

Thanks for the help Jeff.  I think mine is a read only cd.  It will only let me highlight a line at time.  That pretty much sucks but I quess I can type it. What type info do you use?  Brian

Brian, will it allow you to print the information? If so, set up a new printer (to print to a text file) on your machine. You can then copy from the file it creates when you print it.

If you've never set one of these up before, here's what you do:

• Go to "Start, Settings, Printers" then click "Add Printer".

• Select "Local Printer", then "Next".
• Under Port, select "FILE:", then "Next".
• Under Manufacturers select "Generic", then select  "Generic / Text Only" on the right, then click "Next".
• Enter a name for this printer or leave what's in there by default. You can always rename it later. Select whether or not you want this to be your default printer***, then click next.
• Folow the rest of the prompts until you finish. Now try to print to a text file from your Omega program.

***You may have to return to your Printers folder and set it as your default printer if the Omega program does not prompt you to choose a printer when you go to print the information. A lot of these types of programs will only print to your default printer.
