This is the first pair of door pods I built for my brother in laws 05 F-150. Just thought I would throw some pictures up for you guys to see. This was the first set I have built so if anyone has got any advice to do it better then by all means throw your 2c in.f 150 door pods -- posted image.

hey did you use any fiberglass mat on the pods? if not your gonna have some major problems with them shrinking and expanding in heat and cold.which will cause them the crack,warp.after the fleece you wanna do a layer of fiberglass mat. this will keep them stong and not let them shrink and expand.hope this helps you, other then that you did great.

I actually used fiberglass mat on the inside. I am not sure if that is the best way to do it, the reason i did it though was to make the finishing easier on the top because the grille cloth is reletively smooth. but yes i did put fiberglass mat on from the back.

as for the amp, the box didnt quite turn out as good as i was hoping but it was alright, there is a matching silver cover over the amps i am still working on, and then we are putting this lift kit in the seat brackets. I belive its lmi welding that makes it. With that lift kit thing on the seat it has enough room for full size 10s so didnt have4 to use shallow subs
