how does everyone make their speaker rings?

i haven't actually made one yet, and i don't know howto make a nice.. perfectly round ring - what tools / tables etc do you use? I hope it isn't just.. cut along the dotted line - or i'm doomed.

im going shopping tomorrow for supplies to begin my first project, and that's probably the only thing I haven't figured out.

Router, but that is probably not practical if you are only building one box.

I use a router and a circle jig bought from www.partsexpress.com , just go to speaker building supplies or tools.

I use a router with this craftsman circle jig, it's infinitely adjustable, and cheap!

Router Guide

Just cut the outside of the ring first, then the inside. Perfect every time.

the cirlce jig is cheaper from Amazon, unless you buy both the circle jig and the tweet jig, Partsexpress has a good deal on that.

yea router is the way to go, but if you really are only wanting one ring go to selectproducts, they sell pairs of them, not really cheep, but if you only want to build one box, it's a painless way to go
