hey there i have a question about how many parts hardner to resin the resin i bought says 1 ounce resin needs 12 drops hardner would that apply if using 4 oz.'s would need 48 drops or what i'm new to this fiberglass and plan on trying my hand at it just don't want to get it wrong. any advice would be helpful. thanx

Yeah just multiply by how many oz you're using. You may also wanna play around with the ratio a bit. If its cold outside maybe add a few drops if its really hot, maybe use a few less. Also if you add a bit less, you will have more time to work with it which can be good when you're first starting out. I'm not sure what brand resin you're using and it won't make a huge difference but I'd say anywhere from 35 - 55 drops would achieve about the same strength. Too much and it will harden too quick and be brittle (not to mention get hot as hell and possibly warp) Too little and it will never harden. Start with 48 drops and play around with it as you go.
