I need some ideas on how to attach a pod for a 6.5 inch speaker OVER the existing cutout in the door where the grill goes.  Its made out of MDF and glass and I was thinking of just bolting it to the door.  Sound like a plan? Anyone tried this before?

Yeah bolt it on the inside where you cant see them. Then mount the speaker up.
