will glaze putty work good on top of fiberglass to get scratches out? also do i need to primer the putty before painting?

glaze putty should work.. but i would recommend using bondo or a skim coat filler... and yes you do need to prime before painting.. otherwise the the final coat of paint will not lay down evenly.. when in question always prime again..

literally prime everything, otherwise it will look odd and the paint job will be crap in the unprimed areas, glaze putty will work but body filler is better suited

i usually do one coat of primer and give it a light sand to make sure there are no inperfections, if i have to sand down some larger lumps i usually do another coat of primer then like a 800 grit sand b4 applying a top coat, i prefer wet and dry snadpaper for 400-2000 grit sanding and i prefer wetsanding

ok kool thanks.....is there anyway i can reuse my brushes after apply resin ? That way i dont have to keep throwing every brush away every time i use it.

yes soak it in acetone for like 10-20mins then take it out and clean the brush with an old rag. if you leave it in the acetone over night sometimes the acetone evaporates and only gelled up resin is left and then the brush is rooted
