I just started my first fiberglass project in my 77 ranchero. This isn't my first time to work with fiberglass. I did some stage peices for my school, but they were pretty rough. The closest anyone in the audience ever got to them was maybe 30 feet, so they were by no means perfect.

Behind the back seat of my car, or truck whatever you want to call it, is a large space, meant to hold the spare tire and jack. I decided to box in this area and make a fiberglass enclosure for a sub behind the drivers seat and an amp rack behind the passenger seat. The sub and amp right now are cheap sony explod stuff. Nothing special. I got everything for $50 from my cousin. He totalled the car they were in and needed cash quick. They'll work for now, until i can get the cash for something better.

I just finished the install tonight, at around 10:00 so, i havent taken any pictures yet. I'll snap a few tomorrow. Heres a few of my car, and the box right after the fleece was streched. Tell me what you think.

I do not see any shots of the box or fleece in those shots.  Uploaded the wrong photos maybe?

I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.

its only a picture of the driver side so its kinda hard to tell exactly what it is.  I'll get more pictures today after work, it should make it easier to see what it looks like.

I took some pictures during my lunch break.  The sub going in is a 12 inch sony xplod.  The amp has 800 watt peak power.

thanks.  I thought about covering it, but $$$ is always an issue.  All the paint i used cost a total of like $15 so it was the best choice for the project.  I have another project planned though that I am going to cover.  I'm working on a center console type thing that will hold my ipod and a 7.5 inch monitor along with two cup holders, since the car doesn't have any.
