RAMMAT is not as expensive and built just like the ultra premium stuff, foil layer (thick) and butyl instead of asphalt. comes in a big ass roll or I think u can buy smaller kits. Second Skin's product is the best though, but $$$. I have it in my car and it's not a whole lot better than the RAMMAT but it is a bit more of quality feel. It's pure butyl and foil lined as well. Stay away from asphalt like original Dynamat. Oh! almost forgot, the Ebay stuff,  Sound Destroyer, it's butyl and foil and similiar to RAMMAT in quality. It's inexpensive. Look for their auctions with free shipping!

Some good old thick under coating, expanding foam, rubber matting the stuff they use for roofing it works very well, spray adheasive for the rubber matt. Then a good bass CD that so you can hear what else needs deading. It works it dose take time, in the end you will be happy and will have save a lot of money because it's not endorced by said companys.

There is a sound-deadening comparison on RAAMAT's site. And, NO, RAAMAT does NOT win. Second Skin does. But it's a good test and you can see Dynamat Extreme is good too, but pricey. Do NOT use roofing products unless you enjoy the stench of asphalt for days and days. Use a butyl rubber product!!
