parrot into ’97 bmw 540

Folks, trying to install BT kit to this car. It's plain no-DSP/no-NAV radio system. However, this car has factory phone installed as an option if it matters?

I use wiring kit for plug-N-play install. 2 issues I have:

1. When parrot mutes system I can still hear music from CD changer very little.

2. When radio turned OFF and I operate phone - there is no audio. So, in order to use BT I have to have radio ON.

I installed same kit on wife's X5 and it works perfectly fine. Not sure if it doesn't have issue #1 (not really concerned about it) but it doesn't have issue #2 for sure. If I get a call - radio would come alive, say "Phone" on MID and it will go off after call completed. Is there any way to make my 97 540 to work same way?
