i am interested in making my own LED tail lights
i am a complete n00b but im eager to learn. i have had a good read around the forum and just taking in some information but its something that will take time to get my head around
just a few quick questions
1 - will these be suitable to use as tail lights/brake lights?

they are going to be positioned like this

2- what would be the best way to wire them up in regards to series/parellel, what resistors i need and where to place them in the circuit. Also will all the Leds remain the same brightness whatever current it recieves (even when i have my sound system on)?
3- how would i get the tail light LEDs to act as a brake light aswell?
(someone said use a Pulse Width Modulation (PWM)?)
thats all for now folks :)
(hopefully iv complied with forum rules!, apologies if i havent)

It's a great idea & not wanting to rain on your parade but if you're going to use them in a roadworthy vehicle the light's might not pass an MOT if they aren't "E" marked.
I'll have to do some research but if you can retain the rear lenses and modify the bulb holders/reflectors you may just find a tester who might bend the rules slightly.

Well that's good to hear, last thing you want is the old Bill to pull you over when it's all sorted.
Any chance of some before and after pics?
