Anyone know where can I get a constant 12v output when the oem alram system on and 0 volt when alram system off? I want to install a led in the dashboard as a warning light. I'm driving a 2011 VW Tiguan.Thankyou in advance!

Hmm.. You can either tie in to the factory dash security light or use 12v constant and then take the ground to a TRUE ignition wire. A true ignition wire rests at ground so using this the led would come on the instant you turn the car off.

Thanks tonanzith! I will tie in the factory alarm led, but the led is installed on the driver's door panel. It is very hard to located the wire without any information. May be I need to take off the door panel to find the wiring. Anyway I will try it. Thanks again!
