I'm trying to take two of the 3528 SMD LED flat light strips similar to these: Light Strips
and wire them in such a way that I can alternate them one on the other off then switch similar to a railroad flasher or the wingtip lights on an aircraft.
I've done a ton of google searches but all that I've come up with is two bulb flashers and I need each of the whole strips to illuminate.
Specs for these are:
-Input volts: DC 12V
-Current per meter: 400mA
-24 watts/5 meter
-Viewing Angle : 120°
Any suggestions would be appreciated

If the flashers are for 12V bulbs, then just substitute the LED strings.
A 12V 3W bulb is equivalent to 400mA if bulb size matters.
