Fog Lights with High Beams if Fog Lights Already On

Ok I have a 2013 Chevy Impala. There are kits out there that allow you to run you fogs with your high beams. My problem with those kits is that they also power up the fog when using flash to pass or even in times i don't want the fogs. I want to build a circuit that would allow the fogs to stay energized when the high beams are turned on but unless they are already energized i do not want them to come on. Honestly I'm not worried or concerned about the legality. I have far more illegal mods done to my vehicle. Working on a new retrofit for the car and replacing my leds in the fogs with hids and don't want them turning on and off unnecessarily. Is there some sort of relay setup i can use to accomplish this?2013 Chevy Impala LTZ

HID's are too bright for true fog lights as they would create too much glare in fog, reflecting back and blinding the driver. Either way, it looks like you could wire up a relay with a delay to ground the dark green/white trigger wire for the fog light relay. A delay of a half second or so should be enough to keep them from activating during flash-to-pass maneuvers.My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.

you could take the green/white off the bcm and have something else ground the control side of the relay. The lights would stay on regardless of what the headlight switch is doing.If i Can't Install it    I Don't need it   Joe

thank you for the suggestions. I've looked at them and then another idea popped in my head. i'll try my best to explain what i'm seeing in my head. Can i use my stock push button to control a latched relay (neg output) or relay array (neg output) that i could tap the D-GN/WH wire? This in theory would be fed from another relay that would give me a switched ground, so that it would only be active when the car is in accessory or run. Is that doable? Yes, this can likely be done, but you'd probably also want a way to turn them off other than having to cycle the ignition. If you didn't want to add a separate switch, you could use more relays that would activate when you pressed a couple other factory buttons simultaneously. Have you tested to see what kind of signal the fog light switch provides? Is it a ground also like the headlights?My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.
