I have a set of Prolumen HID H7 lights that I installed on my car (04 Hyundai Tiburon).  Made a relay harness to install w/ the kit (just one relay for both ballasts).  Lights light up properly and look great.  However, 1 of 2 things happen.

1. When lights are on for a long time (at least 15-30 minutes), my driver side light will go out on occasions.

2. When I hit a hard bump on the road, the driver side light goes out (after having been on for a while as well)

I've removed the diode from the relay harness (I believe that the diode is only used in bi-xenon setups, so I took it off to see if this helped)  I've even relocated the driver side ballast in a way that will minimize excessive vibration and shock from hard bumps on the road.

Having done all of this, my light still goes out after having been on for a while.  I also notice that both lights will flicker slightly after having been on for a while.

Anyone know what might be causing this problem?  I suspect the driver side ballast might be faulty, but just wanna know if there may be other problems.

that suckers gettin HOT......the relay is overloaded. use one for each side...AND, like fr33wOrld said....a good ground is very much needed.........

Make sure your ballasts are secured (not with the double back sticky tape most kits come with)

bare the metal. make sure there is a good ground put some axle grease over it so it doesn't rust or currode...take the bulbs out make sure they are clean same with all the contacts...use some silicon conductive grease that allows current..so theres some good power going to it...last resort on securing the ballist use some INDUSTRAIL stregnthy velcrow that stuff really holds well...there could also be a broekn cable inside the covering....try replcing it....use a bigger gauge wire that came with stock for eaier current flow....have u noticed any of the wires are very warm to the touch...if so heavier guage is needed....i've done a lot of electrical stuff in my car from making my own angel eyes interior glow...amp wiring..if u have anything soder...re do it...u make have what we cold a cold joint...when the soder was drying it got pull apart a lil bit...get a friend to hold the wires steadly together and soder...these all can contrubuite to faults....take a test light and make sure everythings proper...how new are the bulbs?? next time they short out take a flash light and take a look and the filiments...i had some side markers do that...turned out when they heated up the filiment would sag and connect with the other one and cause a short..let me know what happens.

if im not mistaken there are no filiments in Xenons, no? i thought they were ignited gas, hence the ballasts.
