i purchased a 49 in led line of fire. its a 3 function led and i am trying to turn it into a 4 function. meaning, i have both turn signals, and parking lights and stop light but at night when i have the parking lights on they = the same amount of power as the brake lights, resulting - i have no brake light function when the parking lights are on.  so i have to lower the voltage from my parking lights. which kind of resistor sould i use.

thanks, av

Ned to know the rating for the LEDs, what the voltage drop is, how there wired, and how many mAh each... then, when you know it, calculate that ishresistors for my leds -- posted image.

led's are generally 20 ma

Voltages depend on the color.

white is about 3.4v

and.. leds... don't really have a defined resisitance.  they are a constant current device.
