does anyone know of a place i can download one or a store that might carry the CD's?
i just got my new amp and i'm trying to set the gains and everything and have been reading many thins. use a dmm or just put in a cd and listen, then adjust it to what sounds good to you.
i don't want to damage any of my gear or anything.
any thoughts, comments, or suggestions?

Bass Mechanik cds are useful. I have one that does a sine sweep and they usually can be had almost any where, i think I got mine at borders or another super store, best buy etc too.

There was a post just recently about this. Do a search for it. The program is called nch tone generator. It works great. I have already used it on three setups this past week.

NCH is cool, I downloaded it from www.download.com , trial of like a month or something and just make a cd with all the tones you need in that amount of time.  Very easy software also.

I made my sine waves for 100ms, it comes out to be 1:40 on my cd burner, just a little extra time to make my adjustments.
