This is a thread just for fun, so please don't slam others for their musical taste.  I did this on another board and everyone seemed to like it.  The basic question is what's in your CD player right now?

I have a 6-disk changer, currently loaded as follows:

1) Audioslave

2) A Perfect Circle - Mer Du Noms

3) Bob Mould - Black Sheets of Rain

4) Sting - Brand New Day

5) Ramones - Loud Fast (Greatest Hits)

6) Linkin Park - Meteora

I don't have a changer, but I think that I have The Counting Crows - August and Everything After CD in right now.

Last week I was playing Bad Religion-Process of Belief (love this CD) and 311s Greatest Hits.
Then on sunday I bought Lil Jon and the Eastsideboyz Put Yo Hood Up so I played that for a few days. Now I have Big Tymers-I Got That Work cd in there.

I have a 10gig Music Keg so this is a little tricky for me but my favorites would be:

Sevendust_Animosity_ Awesome guitar crunch and kick drum

Sting_Ten Summoners Tales- Great Producing and SQ

John Mayer_Room For Squares- Great Acoustic Guitar

Tonic_All Albums-Just great songwriting

Pantera_First three albums, because I'm a metalhead

Maroon 5, Great bass and producing

Pearl Jam-Ten, gotta dig the pure rock

DJ Magic Mike-Bass..The Final Frontier, Old School..Gotta Love It!!!

My wife will never understand why, lucky for her!

This is tough because it's too damn cold to go out and look in the changer.  And I don't get the car very often so I have a tendency to forget what I put in last (especially in cold weather).  But there's a 6 disk magazine that is loaded and I can think of at least 4 of them:

Buddy Guy - Damn Right I've Got the Blues

Chemical Brothers - one disk of the set Singles 93 - 03

a contemporary gospel CD that I burned

a burned CD of various hip-hop featuring mainly Black Eyed Peas

I recently pulled out the 2 disks of the Rolling Stones Forty Licks so I could make copies and can't think of what else I put in there.  I drive a company truck and don't get to use the car much.  So I work on the home system in the winter and the car audio in the summer   :#)

Medeski, Martin & Wood - End of the World Party

Jamie Cullum - Twentysomething
Dream Theater - Images and Words
Dream Theater - Awake
Lionel Richie - The Definitive Collection
Hilary Hahn - Elgar Violin Concerto / Lark Ascending

Yes, I know Lionel Richie is old, but I really like his old stuff.  :-)

I talked about the top two in the bass post.. They're both great Jazz.
Dream Theater is fast paced and excited modern progressive rock
Hilary Hahn has one of the sweetest violins I've heard.  The sound quality of her albums are excellent.  10 minutes with any of her cds and I'm decompressed.

New Project: 2003 Pathfinder

My Eclipse 8051 Single in-dash has Blues Traveler "Four" in it at this very moment. I also carry with me most every Alphaville album ever printed... 4 Non Blondes, AC-DC, Jennifer Warnes also make the list. Eclectic, I know... Child of the 70's (I think).
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."
