05 corolla radio ignition wire

i have a 2005 toyota corolla with aftermarket pioneer headunit speakers sub and amp. i recently installed some fog lights and ran the ignition wire the radio ignition wire all was fine until the guy who washes my car decided to pull on some wires and the radio amp and foggies all went out. i re checked all the wires and now the ignition wire is dead  im pretty sure its not a fuse because if i connect it to the 12 volt constant it all works fine. any help would be greatly appreciated.

you blew the fuse in the car, not on the radio.  check ur fuse panel and i promise you will find the culprit....if at first u dont succeed........ lower ur standards

I would suggest running the fog lights off of a relay also. They draw a decent amount of current.

yea i should have suggested that as well.  im actually surprised your head unit wasnt clipping off when you turn your fog lights on.....if at first u dont succeed........ lower ur standards

there is a relay the constant is fine as i said and its not a fuse on the radio i know this because if i connect the stereos ignition wire with the constant it turns on my inital guess is that the ignition wire got yanked on pretty hard and came loose somewhere.

did you check all of your fuses? I would still agree that the fuse for your radio ignition wire is blown. That is why if you connect it to the constant wire you have power. All that test does is shows that the equipment works properly, and that you dont have any voltage at the ignition wire. What kind of car is it? Make sure you check all of your fuses because the radio has atleast 2 fuses. My other question is why the cleaning guy would yank on any wires... pretty odd if you ask me.. lolKenny

it is a fuse in the car, not on the radio!!!  quit being stubborn and pull the cover off the fuse panel and get to checkin.  i am 99.98% certain that you will find a blown fuse!!!! if at first u dont succeed........ lower ur standards
