On vehicles with the premium sound system, each speaker is individually amplified.

Prepare your future. It wasn't the lack of stones that killed the stone age.

I thought that was only the bose systems that had the amp at each speaker, like the GM. I know with the fords its a seperate amp mounted either under a seat or around the trunk.
