Your + battery terminal is correct.

Um - I guess you could ground the alternator chassis but I wouldn't do it that way - just upgrade your engine ground strap.  If you screw with that bolt you will loosen the alternator and screw up the tightness of the belt that runs it.  I wouldn't mess with it unless you are comfortable re-positioning your alternator.

Again, look for your engine ground strap and just upgrade that.

I loosened up that bolt to ground my alternatory to the engine block and daisy chained it back to the battery -. Worked very well. Did not interfere with the belt tension at all.

I am kinda confused if i use that bolt on the alternator is that grounding the alternator and not grounding the engine block? Or isnt that bolt bolting the alternator onto the engine block? I just wanna do the step of engine block to chassis and i cant find the right spot to bolt the 1/0 gauge onto the engine block.

Would the bolt with circled on green work as a engine block point?

Take a picture of your whole engine bay.

Go ahead and run a ground from the alternator bolt to the frame. If you remove one bolt, the alternator should stay in place and the belt wont slip off. Most alternators are held in by 2 or 3 bolts.

Here is what I did...The wire going off to the left is grounded to the alternator case/mounting bolt.

The another wire daisy chains it to the battery negative here.

I would get a meter and check different locations/bolts that you can ground to check if the resistance is not too high.
