Are you looking for a 1 ohm stable amp because of subs you already own?

Nah. I'm just tossin around some ideas with my brother and one idea we had was 3 svc 4ohm 12's, which comes out to 1.334 ohms wired in parallel, so we were tryin to find an amp that'll put out about 750rms at 1ohm.. This isn't set in stone, but just tryin to see whats available.

This isn't really a - uhh - 'clean' amp per se - but it'll sound fine driving down the road at 50mph blasting out some 12's. . .

No budget as of yet. It's going to be his first system, so obviously nothing crazy. And again, we're still brain-storming, but he seems pretty set on the 3 alpine type e 12's.
