Good morning and Happy Easter everyone!

I was hopeing that someone could help me with an issue that i am having. I have a JL 250/1v2 amplifier pushing one Kicker CompVX12 in a vented box. I have 4 gauge power and groung and one set of Monster RCA running from deck's sub out to the Amp in port. The amp does not need a remote turn on because it has audio sensing from the RCA's which is pretty cool.

PROBLEM: When i take the faceplate off or turn my car off i get a thump about 1-2secs later,from the sub obviously. I thought it was the ground because i grounded it down to where another wire was grounded. I regrounded to a new surface and scraped the paint off but i still have the same results.

By no means am i an expert but i have installed many systems in my time and never had this issue. I still think it is the ground but i'm not positive and need guidance. Any help or ideas would be greatly appriciated.

the pop* happens because your amplifer is still powerd\ when the deck disconnects*. if you can use a remote wire for that amp i would do that, when you dont use a remote wire all sort of wacky sounds arise.
