Got a question. Has anyone tried to install 10" or 12" subs into the rear doors of a 99 subruban. I'm thinking i want to place them in the doors to keep a factory look.  I was hoping to use foam and dynamat in the door panels. Any replies would help.  Thanks.

You could get away with it if you had shallow mount subs. More and more companies are coming out with shallow mount subs, so it is getting increasingly easier to put bass where limited space is available. Keep in mind that a sub would sound much better in an enclosure than a door. You would have to make modifications to that door to make it sound just as good as having it in an enclosure.

From now on make sure that you post your questions in the correct forum. This forum is for showing off your rides and systems.

Yeah I forgot to mention that... I have a pair of 12" Kicker shallow mount subs that I plan to use for this project. But I hear Menphis is putting out a 10 and 12" shallow monut this summer.  But thanks for the input.

I think you should Sell those 12's and get 8 Polk 8" subs... That would be sooo killer.   Never underestimate the eights.
