computer monitor in car?

with the current retarted prices of hater blockers. ive opted to put a 17-19inch computer monitor in my car. i know ill need a 12v to 110 volt converter. i plan to run a  ps2 i got very cheap the newer slim kind. my ?s are ive heard of horror stories, of  buzzing noises and bad video pics etc. what are some of the safe guards i can take to to aviod the above problems. my cars a 1984 caddy elderado lmtd.

You'd be really surprised to find out how many monitors actually use 12 volt power bricks... Easy enough to find one. 14.4v is close enough that it will run perfectly well.
Find one with the power needs you already HAVE, (12VDC) and you'll save yourself all of those headaches!
I also have to ask... What's a "hater blocker"?

lol errrrrrrrr ok hater blockers. are 6-9 inch monitors in you car. in the roof in the seats. all over the place hater blockers. so when you pull up next to grandpa, and his nice roadmaster system. you get the hater look. step one turn visor down and to the left or right. step 2 play a anti hater dvd vid. step 3 turn the music up. step 4 grandpa has been hater blocked loooooooooool.

i didnt say i did it you asked what it meant? by the way im 35 yrs old? by far im not immature. you guys need to lighten up. when i 1st heard of this i was laughing so hard my gut hurt.
