Too bad they didn't test Hushmat.  We use that stuff at work and are very happy with it's performance.

Yea i read it. Second Skin is little out of my price range so i think im going go with RAAMaudio sound deadener.

I tried to collect as much of the technical data as I could on all the deadeners, and from what I could see, dollar to deadening capabilities ... bquiet came out on top.

The most important consideration is not really the brand - its whether or not the deadener is butyl or ashphalt based - butyl deadeners are exceptional performers and always do real well - Damplifier Pro is, I believe, the thickest butyl deadener available.

Asphalt on the other hand does nothing except add some mass - and tends to melt in summer temperatures - so Dynamat original or any of the goofy products like FatMat are definately to be avoided.

Deadening your car is one of the most critical upgrades you can make to ur stereo - don't cheap out here.
