I have an 03 eclipse and it comes with a factory center channel speaker. I have an iva-d900 and I am thinking of getting the mra-f350 theater amp.  I am wondering from anyone that has any experience with this amp.  What I would like to know if it does dolby digital as well as dolby prologic by itself or would another component be needed for this to happen?  I am wanting full surround sound in my eclipse and just wondering what components would be needed for this to happen with the mra-f350.  I dont have the money for the mra-d550 so this isn't and option.  Would the pxa-h510 audio processor be needed with this amp.  Any help from anyone that has used this amp is greatly appreciated.

I feel the problem with 'surround" amps is the power..... or the lack of. Most are driven at the same power per channel.

I am old school. FRONT AND REAR WITH SUB AND A CENTER CHANNEL.. Not true 5.1 but! done properly.alpine mra f350? -- posted image.

Yeah but if I went that way I would have to have a 4 channel amp for the front and rear, one for the center channel and one for the subs.  One other piece I would need is the sound processor like the pxa-h710 or the pxa-h510 both alpine processors. I am wanting the full dts, dolby digital 5.1 surround sound.  I think I might have found a mra-d550 cheaper that i originally found.  Might go that way if I can get it cheap, ebay.  Still would need a sub amp though.
