I one 15 inch l7 and it cracked the box on 2 sides and now makes a loud horrible sound when played. I got the box off the internet from hifisoundconnection. I dont have time or skills to build a custom box. If yall know any sites that makes or sell durable boxes, that would be freaking awesome.
Its a 2008 S15l7 15 inch wired 1 ohm
and Crunch ( i know its a crappy amp ) GP1500.1
in a 03 camry trunk. I am pretty new at this so if their is more info needed then ask or if you have ideas for improvement then tell me. Loud and Sound quality I dont care really. thanks.

I've never been much on ordering boxes off the internet... something about a long ride in a UPS truck just doesn't seem good for a large empty structure, but I'm sure lots of folks here have sites for you.
Have you checked with your local installers? I'm willing to bet someone has a box for you... maybe even a custom pre molded box to give you back some space with.

Did a piece of wood actually crack, or did the pieces of wood separate at the seams?

It actually cracked on two sides and some spots the layers in the mdf feels that it had separated.

prefabs are still crappy as always.
I'd get a ProBox. There is a guy with a single 10L5 in a Probox that hits 128.xx db on the termlab off 200 watts.
