Hi, I have recently purchased an Alpine 9847r head unit and wired it up to some new front speakers and 6x9s which sound amazing. But, I've connected the Alpine KCA-235B/Ai-Net RCA cable to the back and hooked my mp3 player up to it and there's all sorts of problems. - On the Tuner/FM/AM/CD mode, the mp3 player can be heard playing in the background - On aux mode the volume is ridiculously low and doesn't change even at '35 (max)' vol. on the head unit control - There is some fuzzy background noise in aux mode as well as the stupidly low volume. I've tried changing a few things, like turning 'Mute' on and off. Anyone have a solution for my really frustrating problem?

Have you set the little dip switch that is labeled EQ/div or Norm to normal?  Have you went into the menu and selected the aux function(as opposed to changer)?

The switch he is talking about is accessible through a small rectangular hole in the bottom cover of the deck.
