Anyone know where there is video on a aftermarket head unit install? I have it up until the part where you need to need to connect the wires to the back of the head unit. Then I'm lost completely.
Just learning.

Did you purchase the wiring harness for your vehicle?

Haven't purchased anything as I'm still picking out, but I'd to know what I'm doing ahead of time so that's why I'm asking.
Just learning.

I think I got it figured out.
Where I'm buying it from I get the adapters with the order. So what I would do is attach the adapters to the factory plugs then solder all the aftermarket wires together, and then attach the plug into the aftermarket head unit? and viola? That's what it seems like to me anyway.
Just learning.

Solder the connections before you plug the harness into the vehicle.
