Does any one have any experience with eclipse? If so is it a good brand or bad brand? I was looking to buy an Eclipse CD3100 for 50 bucks. is it a good deal or should i leave it alone.

If the trunk dont rattle then its not loud.

If it's to loud then you're to old.

thanks dyohn. I hear people on here say that they like eclipse, I was just wondering if all the products are good. Or do they have top of the line products and also a buget line of products as well?

I have another question also. I wanted to know if I was to build 2 boxes both with the same tunning and the same interior cubic feet one box made with 3/4" mdf and the other 1.5" mdf all around would there be much of a difference in sound? would it be better to use 3/4" or 1.5" mdf.

I have an eclipse cd3200 ,It is by far the best h/u I have ever owned.Easy operation ,tons of sound quality features,built in bluetooth.very good customer service as well(fujitsu-ten)

I also have the Eclipse 3200 headunit and i love it...my only complaint...the button that you use to change tracks is fading from the finger rubbing on it. eclipse head unit -- posted image.
