ok i am getting a fi btl 18" woofer and a 2500 rms amp ..
big 3
should i get a ho alternator or 2 batts
what would work best

Well, ask yourself this question: Where does all the electrical power in my car come from?
If you say battery, then you are wrong. If you said alternator, then you have just answered you own question.

If you looking at a true 2500WRMS, I would be looking at a 250-300 amp alt, and 2 batteries. 1 under the hood and 1 close to the amp.

That's only true when the engine's running. 2500 watt system -- posted image.
