Trying to install a new hesd unit in a 1989 jeep grand wagoneer,with the factory connecter that has been cut. .I downloaded the factory wiring diagram from several sites all with the same wiring color codes,but none matches the wiring in the wagoneer.Anyone have any ideas??

Use a AA battery and a multi meter and identify each of your wires yourself... tedious, but if you cant find the right diagram, it might be your only choice
