I have 2 12" subs rated for 200w, 400w max, and 800w peak at 8 ohms, SVC. The amp box says it is stereo / bridgeable with 60w rms x 2 (4 ohms), 75w rms x 2 (2 ohms), and 150w rms x 1 (bridged 4 ohms).

How do I wire them? I know that wiring in parallel would drop it to 4 ohms, but would I do bridged or what?

Yes you will want to bridge the amp.

Option 1 (parallel) = 4 ohm load

Speakers wired in parallel

Recommended Amplifier: Stable at 4, 2, or 1 ohm mono

ok, the wire kit I bought has a 17' run of 8 awg power cable and 16 awg to the speakers. The power run will be all 17' but the speaker run will be only about 4'. Will both wires be big enough gauge?

Also, do I need to put in a bigger ground wire from my battery to the chasis?
