Help! I have installed an Infinity 5350a amp along with pioneer 6.5" components in the front, alpine 6.5" splits in the rear and an infinity 12" sub in the back of a friends stationwagon.(2006 Holden Viva, New Zealand) All output and source cabling is new, system is powered through 8g OFC cabling. Upon initial test of system a loud buzzing noise was produced, have disconnected all channels and re-connected one by one to isolate the fault. Curiously the 'buzz' (for want of a better word) is coming through both front and rear RIGHT channels only. I have retraced my steps and checked all my terminations to ensure I've got the polarity right and there is no obvious damage to any speaker leads to indicate a short circuit.I got a 0.3 ohm reading from the amp earth, so no troubles there. Am really struggling to come up with an explanation for the cause of the noise aside from a pre-existing fault in the amp itself. We've got another amp coming in the morning to use as a comparative test but if anyone can offer ideas I could really use some help on this.

Swap your RCA's from the right channel to the left , and your left channel to the right.....Did the "Buzzing noise" switch to the left side?

Disconnect both right speakers from the amp and use a meter to see if you have a grounded speaker wire.
