mono amplifier getting hot

I fix mono amp and capacitor in the trucnk and near to woofer , My Mono AMP is getting hot.

Some amps do get hot.

Depending on the amp or the amount of air-flow you have around them they will get hot no matter what. I suggest either moving it to an open area or putting fans back there on the amps to reduce the speed at which they over-heat.

You can rig a 120mm fan to blow on it all the time when the car is on etc.

Easy < $15 project.

i fix pioneer g8400 1200 watts mono amp in the trunck and behid the back seat . also i fix capacitor infront of amp and capacitor i keep big woofer box.

amp become hot , i afraid if amp catch fire in the trunck.

also i have notice that the bass quality is not good, i have two jbls woofers one is 1200 watt and second one is 1400 watt.

im using 4 guage wire

Please advice.

With the amp powered up, but the radio's volume at zero for 10 minutes does the amp get hot.  Check every minute or so up till the 10 minutes.

But:

You have two different subs, why is that?  Work on getting your subs all the same make and model.  First.

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

There is no space at back only infront .can i keep the small fan at top of the amp
