I have a 2002 Pontiac Bonneville with a monsoon system in the car. I have Installed a Avital Remote Start And Alarm System in the vehicle. Changed The Factory Radio to an after market radio. Connected a GMOS-09 and a ASWC Module to my car. If I use the key to start my car the radio works everytime with out fail. If i use the remote start to start my car the radio will play for a few sec. then No audio form the usb or micro sd. If i switch to the CD there is no Bass at all. I have to turn the car off and restart the car with the key for everything to work the way it should.

Can someone tell me why???

I hooked all the wires except the brown wire at the ignition switch up to the remote start because when i tested the wire with positive current going to it all it did was unlock the doors. I am worried about the security of my car if it is hooked up and it supplies the Positive current to it and the doors unlock. Does that wire have anything to do with the Radio???

Did the info for your car include more than one ignition or accessory wire?  If so, did you connect both or all 3?

I am guessing that the purpose of the remote start is not for the common, cool the car off before you enter.  Nor to warm the car up in the winter either.

It turns out that showing off has become a large part of the market.  We have installed 2 headrest monitors and a fold down overhead mounted DVD player/monitor in a car with no back seat.

I hooked all of them up except that one wire. It appears to me that it only unlocks the doors when Positive current is removed from it.

According to Audiovox, the brown wire is second Accessory.  I would be willing to bet that this not being connected is keeping you from blammin while under a remote start scenario.

usually the acc2 will power the window circuit and sometimes the radio and factory amp circuit. hmmmm.... i have a strange psychic tingling that makes me think that it has something to do with your problem. and also, was there by chance a green, large gauge wire at the ignition harness too? if there is, you need to power that up as a third ignition.
