I have a customer with a 07 Honda Accord and wants to change the radio to an aftermarket radio. I see the climate controls are connected to the radio so if i try to connect a aftermarket radio i have two questions. First is there a dash kit that can help with the install and is the climate controls intergrated to the radio meaning if i take the radio out will the climate controls still work. Thank you in advance.
Confidence is the key to any project!!

The metra 99-7862 will go underneath the stereo and climate controls. It replaces the large pocket underneath them.

metra part 99-7864 will actually replace the radio and keep the climate controls and all of that good stuff but it goes for $150 on flea bay.  I have done a couple installs using the pocket kit.  Usually I use a small piece of speed wire and cut the speaker wires from the factory harness and wire mine in with the new radio.  If you unplug the factory radio plug you lose illumination of the whole factory radio and the hvac controls so I keep that plugged in.
