noise through speakers

Hey guys got a ? For ya ok I just put an amp in my 2003 Ford escape and I have engine noise coming through my speakers. Now my power wire is ran along the center console with the remote turn on lead and my RCA and speaker wires are ran on the oppise side of the power wire and the ground wire is to the seat stud that comes out of the floor and yes I scraped all the paint away and it has a good ground. Please help the engine noise is really annoying I feel like I have a old am radio lol. Thanks

and also I did not have the engine noise when I had no amp for the speakers. The noise started when I installed the amp.

Turn the amplifier gain control all the way down, is the noise gone?

Well I turned it up yesterday and it was lowder than before and I turned it down and it was lower like before but I did not turn it all the way down yet so I guess if I did it would prob go away.
