Try current-logic.com.
That's 1200W output, and probably hence ~120A input.
EG - maybe two customised CDP720-12S24 types (12V in, isolated 24V out, 30A) changed to 30V output. But there may be other options.

google "smps ic datasheet" etc.
The MC34063 & TL496 are fairly common and often used in 12V cig-socket converters for mobile pones, laptops etc. But there are many to chose from.
The datasheets typically give sample circuits including +/- supplies.

The redneck way to do it would be wire three batteries in series and use a voltage divider. 12v convertor to + 30v dc 20a -- posted image.

Six batteries.
And no voltage divider.

Our multi-batteries referred to using 6 in series to get 72V - ie, +/- 36V. But that's useless - how will you charge them?
With dc-dc converters, you should only need one battery (12V). You then need an alternator capable of supplying the total load.
Extra batteries are only required if you want a dual battery setup with isolator to ensure you always have a cranking battery, and then extra secondary batteries if you want a longer reserve time for the amp when the engine is not running.
