how do i wire the 1 ohm sub

I need help wiring a viper with a single 6.5 woofer .what I have is a XD700/5 - JL Audio 5-Channel 700W Class D Amplifier and CompVT 6-1/2-inch 1 Ohm sub and would like to also power the door speaker’s hertz separates. The question is how to wire the 1 ohm speaker with this amp

According to the specs you posted, that amp is 2 ohm stable on the subwoofer channel. 

Hopefully the sub you have is a Dual Voice Coil driver with 1 ohm coils.  Could this be the case?

No, that's a SVC 1-ohm sub. You cannot safely use it with that amp. I recommend you purchase a second one and operate them in series if you must use small woofers like that, or use a different woofer with 2-ohms impedance.Support the12volt.com

Yes it is a duel coil. Im thinking I should wire it in series and would make it 2 ohm

Then you must have the CompVT 2-ohm model. The CompVT651 1-ohm model is a SVC speaker.Support the12volt.com
