2013 passat tweeters not working

... after replacing door speakers. I replaced the rear door speakers hoping to keep the factory tweeters running off the factory head unit (want to do the same for the front). Now there is no sound coming from the tweeters. I simply unplugged the factory door "woofer" and installed the new speakers with non-factory wiring (for connection to an amp later). Apparently the tweeters are not run separately but through the woofer somehow. Is there a work-around for this?

If you didn't have your head up your sphincter you might have noticed four terminals at the woofer connection. Jump the terminal connector and be done with it you idiot.
