I have a 2012 ford fusion. I will be adding skar 6.5 components in the front doors and NVX V series 6x9s in the rear deck. I will be powering them with an NVX JAD 800.4 rated at 125rms per channel at 4ohms, which is the impedance of the speakers I will be installing. This will give me 500 rms of power for the speakers (250rms in the front doors and 250rms in the rear deck). Would it be pointless and/or a waste of time, and money to also replace the rear door 5x7s? I will have 2 NVX VCW 12s in the trunk, each one powered by an NVX JAD 1200.1 for approx. 2400 watts rms. So I guess I have 2 questions here.
1.) Would it be pointless and/or a waste of time and money to also upgrade the rear door speakers?
2.) Is 500 watts of rms power for the speakers enough for the speakers in relation to the 2400 rms for the subwoofers?
I have the SMD DD-1 and SMD-CC1, so I will be able to set the gains and crossovers correctly
I plan on doing the install sometime between May and July and will post plenty of pics of the install on here.
