Hello all,
It's been many moons for me and my last car stereo installs(1995ish).
With all the new high tech&power gear now days I'm lost.
My question for you all which I'm sure is basic knowledge , but I haven't found a good answer.
Which lines are better to have longer? Power&RCA or speaker leads?
Have a location in my center console that could fit my amps, making my sub speaker leads around 15ft.
Or do I trunk/rear mount amps by adding those 15ft to my power and RCAS cables?
The car is a 1976 Olds Wagon rat project
Thanks

Not really going to make a difference, if you buy a quality amplifier wiring kit it will come with 17 feet of power wire and probably 25 feet of speaker wire.
