Alpine Deck No Sound

I doubt you can do it yourself, unless it's something blatantly obvious like a blown fuse or a wire that's pulled loose.  Have you tried hooking it up to an amplifier to make sure it's just the internal amp that's bad?  If it's only the internal amp, you should be able to use the preamp-level outputs to feed an external amp with no problems.

If the preamps are good, I'd recommend just using an inexpensive external amp.  It would probably cost less than having your internal amp fixed, and you'll likely get more power and a better sound.

sounds like you have a short on a spk.   Stevolon is right a short at a spk will cause the internal amp to shut down and you will get no sound. fastest  way to check: power unit up fade to front if unit has already cut out power down then power up again if  you have sound now you know  your short is in the rear. once you have determend the short is in the front or back use balance to determan witch side.
