Does anyone have any good ideas on where to put a small 4 channel amp in a 1998 dodge dakota, other then under any of the seats.

back wall? i mean your options are pretty much limited if its a single cab... either under the seat (ideal space) or back wall. why dont you want it under seat?

If the amp is slim enough to fit under the seat, they can work quite well there. Most amps need to be placed front to back and not side to side in order to fit. While the front part of the amp's wiring is hidden, most amplifiers rca inputs are on the other end, thus sticking out into the area where the rear passengers feet are. What I do in these circumstances is built a really simple shield out of 1/8" aluminum that mounts with the amp and extends out and bends up and over the rca inputs. It can easily be upholstered and installed and solves the issue of hitting the amp's wiring with your feet.
Top Secret, I can tell you but then my wife will kill me.
