Hey,

I've got a few questions regarding capacitors.  I am purchasing a Rockford Fosgate Punch 601S, which is 300W RMS per channel, to power my two 12" Infinity references.  I've got a 4 channel amp powering my speakers in my car (4" in dash, 6x9 in back).  I know that when I get my subs in my car, it's going to affect my performance.  I've got 4ga power cable runnin to the back, which I'm going to put into a power distribution block when I install both my amps.  My 4 channel amp is a 4ga right now, and I believe the RF amp will be 8ga.  How do I work that?  Also, does anybody know how to wire two amps at once to one turn on lead?  Am I going to have to use a relay?

As for the capacitor question, should I go with a 1F capacitor?  Anybody have recommended brand names, or do they all pretty much do the same thing?  I'd like something relatively cheap(i'll get it on ebay, i'm on a limited budget).  I am also going to install it myself.  Anybody know of a website that tells you how to do that step by step?  I'll go check crutchfield in a minute, they usually have an OK learning center for that type of stuff.

Well, I think that pretty much wraps it up.  Thanks a million guys.

it would be fine to just run the two amps remote turn on in series, for the cap, its up to you and what happens when you get the system installed. But if you decide to go with a cap you can generally follow 0.1 farad per 100watts.
