I have an AlpineCDE-7858 in my car and it has a subwoofer out and it sounds great.  MY question is ,I'm changing the head unit to a CDA-7839 which has dual pre-out and a non-fading pre-out button.  If I want to use my subs which pre-out should I use the fron or the rears?

Which Pre-outs? -- posted image.  I don't know which ones are the non-fading pre-outs that's why I asked.   Are the front ones or are the rears the non-fading pre-outs.  This will help me determine which ones to use because I am only using one amp.

I just checked your owner's manual.  It says that you should use the eject button (press and hold for 3 seconds) to toggle Non Fading Pre-Out on and off.

N.F.P. ON:  In this position, the Front Pre-Output will not be affected by the fader.  This is ideal for driving a subwoofer amplifier.

N.F.P. OFF:  Returns to normal fader mode.

note:  Set the N.F.P. to OFF unless the subwoofer is used.

I'm not sure, but what you're calling two outputs is actually two jacks.  This is the pre-out.  Use standard twisted wire cables to connect to the amp.  Select N.F.P. ON with the eject button.

Stevdart,

Thanks Alot that means I'll use the rear pre-outs for the amp and subs. Not the fronts.

Thanks a bunch I put the deck in and ran the rear pre-outs to the amp and turned everything on and it sounds nice.  This baby kick some serious butt.
