Hello all, ok heres my system its in a geo storm

Kenwood Kdc-319 hu 17x4 rms 50x4 peak

Blaupunkt 6.5" fronts

Blaupunkt 4" rears

Interfire IFB2400c amp

Crystal 10.5" Cse Sub in a Bandpass Box

The SQ is muddy most of the time im having a hard time getting things to blend and sound cleaner. I mostly just hear the sub and i have the amp's gain set at 1.5v with the crossover filter set at full.

My question's are which pieces should i improve for SQ purposes . Next is how could i improve the Sound qualities of this setup besides sound deadening etc.

set the cross-over on the sub amp to 'low pass' or LPF and set the cut off frequency to 60-80Hz....you may be able to turn the gain up more after that.

60-80 is not the only range you can adjust it to, but somewhere in there you will get the best quality and enough bass at the same time. If something lower or higher works for you, do it.

With your 4, there's not much you can do. set the HU to give them >100Hz HPF if possible.

Replacing those speakers may be the answer, I had a pair before and they were awful. I returned them within 2 days.

So far, the biggest foul I see is running the subs full range, your sound will greatly improve after you fix that.
